Also, is adorned with fine wall paintings.<\/p>\n<p>Finally, Pieria\u2019s most well known monument is the Castle of Platamon on the southeastern slopes of Olympus. The castle was originally built by the Byzantines. Also, was reworked by the Franks at the beginning of the 13th century.
